At CB Foods, we build, support, and empower our teams so that we all can create unforgettable experiences for our customers. We do that by partnering with Jamaican farmers and processors to build sustainable Jamaican industries.
That’s simple, we produce better tasting chicken, leaner, cleaner more tender pork, healthier eggs and fully cooked hams, sausages, bacon and smoked meats.
How we do it, however, makes all the difference. So when we speak about Certified SAFE, understand that we hold ourselves to a higher standard, so you don’t have to.
Anyone can say they are safe, but can they prove it?
In 2012, CB Group was the first Group of companies in the Caribbean to be accredited by the Geneva Switzerland based SGS, the world’s leading inspection, verification, testing, and certification company for:
1) ISO 9001:2015 (International Organization for Standardization) for Quality Management Systems:
ISO is our way to check ourselves against the ever-evolving needs and wants of our customers, while maintaining consistency in meeting all government and regulatory requirements. Customer satisfaction, continuous improvement and consistency is our aim.
2) HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) for Food Safety:
This certification is strictly about food safety, which means we take a systematic preventative approach to hazards in our food products. We do this by continuously measuring and analyzing the raw materials we use, the suppliers we work with, the way in which products are handled, and most importantly, we train our team extensively to keep our foods safe.
3) GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices):
GMP doesn’t simply look at food safety but looks at all our manufacturing processes to see whether or not we are conforming to industry best practices, minimizing risk, and meeting regulatory agency guidelines, all in an effort to consistently produce top quality products.
4) SQF (Safe Quality Food):
The SQF Program is a rigorous and credible food safety and quality program that is recognized by retailers, brand owners, and food service providers world-wide. Recognized by the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI), the SQF family of food safety and quality codes are designed to meet industry, customer, and regulatory requirements for all sectors of the food supply chain – from the farm all the way to the retail stores.

We are proud that we have NEVER failed an inspection and every aspect of our company continues to be Certified SAFE.
