INGREDIENTS

1 box Bonafide scotch bonnet burger patty

4 large lettuce leaves (1 per burger)

1-2 tablespoon per burger Thousand island dressing (or your favourite salad dressing)

2 tablespoons per burger Sharp cheddar cheese

1 tablespoon per burger Red Onion

1 tablespoon per burger Tomato

1 teaspoon per burger sweet relish

 

DIRECTIONS

  1. Finely chop onions and tomatoes
  2. Shred sharp cheddar cheese
  3. Clean and dry four large lettuce leaves
  4. Heat pan or grill to medium-high heat
  5. Add Bonafide scotch bonnet burger patty
  6. Cook for 3-5 minutes per side (or until desired colour and texture is obtained), then remove from heat
  7. Take one lettuce leaf and spread a layer of dressing
  8. Add the burger patty
  9. Top with relish, cheese, onions, tomatoes and more dressing
  10. Fold over with the lettuce, using a toothpick to secure if necessary
  11. Serve and enjoy
