In a bowl combine all the ingredients for the seasoning blend
Lay out the chicken parts cleaned and dry along with the peppers and pineapple season with the seasoning blend and oil and set aside to marinate for an hour
Heat a grill and place the chicken, pineapple and peppers on the grill cooking the veggies for 10 minutes and the chicken for 20 minutes, turning to ensure even grilling
In a blender blend together all the sauce ingredients
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees
You can reserve the grilled peppers and pineapples to serve alongside the chicken at the end or, for added flavor, place the peppers and pineapples at the bottom of a baking dish with the grilled chicken on top.
Pour the sauce over everything, cover and place in the oven for 30-40 minutes.
Remove the cover and turn the oven to the broiling setting, broiling on both sides, until the sauce is thick and the chicken is sticky and golden
Serve and Garnish with scallion greens
